Rules of Dino Art Color Contest

Last date of Submission: 8th May (Wed), 2013
Date of result: 18th May, 2013
Date of follow-up test: 25th May, 2013
Award Ceremony: 9th June, 2013

1st Phase:
1. Dino Art Competition papers will be given to all interested parents who want their kids to take part.
2. All details required in terms of: name, age, address, contact #, email address needs to be completed.
3. The papers can be taken home and they can use any of means of colour (pencil , crayons, water etc.) to colour the competition paper.
4. The last date of submission will be 1st May in any of the designated Dino Art Centres only, and cannot be given to any of their own UCMAS centres

2nd Phase:
5. Once all submission is done, we will collect the papers centrally and have them evaluated and select TOP 50 and announce them as the winners of first round.
6. These 50 students then will be called once again in the respective locations near them for one final coloring contest that will be done in presence of the Dino Art Franchisees.
7. These 50 papers will be evaluated by an art expert externally and will five best contestants will be announced as winners

3rd Phase:
8. Winners will be announced on the UCMAS Website
9. They will be invited at an Award Ceremony to be conducted on 9th June, 2013
10. They will be awarded with a $100 gift card and 1st level free course at the centre of their choice
11. Remaining kids who have not won will be given a free one week workshop in summer holidays at the centre of their choice

The UCMAS Competition – Exam:  During the competition, the UCMAS students have eight minutes to solve 100- 200 math questions, using only their Abacus or Mental math skills. The contest showcases more than prowess in Math – it’s a testament to the skills students develop in the UCMAS program such as visual memory, focus, creativity and visualization, all of which lead to greater proficiency in Math and enhanced academic achievement.

The Awards Ceremony – After the competition, an Awards Ceremony is held where close to 100 prizes  will be awarded to top students of the centre across each of the UCMAS levels.

Both events attract local and regional press coverage.
